Enabling or disabling licenses
For systems running Data ONTAP 8.1 or later operating in 7-Mode, you can enable or disable certain licensed services, making them available or unavailable for the storage system.
Steps 
1.
From the Home tab, double-click the appropriate storage system.
2.
In the navigation pane, click Configuration > System Tools > Licenses.
3.
Select the licensed service that you want to enable or disable.
4.
Click either Enable or Disable, as required.
